MyInsights

Smart Linking

Smart linking in MyInsights enables users to navigate and perform additional tasks directly from MyInsights to other core areas of the application.

The following is available in MyInsights Smart Linking:

• Creating a Call using the newRecord method:

  • Call2_vod__c object

• Viewing record details for the following objects using the viewRecord method:

  • Account
  • Call2_vod__c
  • Inventory_Monitoring_vod__c
  • Account_Plan_vod__c
  • Plan_Tactic_vod__c
  • Account_Tactic_vod__c
  • Call_Objective_vod__c
  • Medical_Event_vod__c

QuerySaleData Method

Users can use querySalesData(queryConfig) to retrieve the appropriate sales data information.

Library Enhancement

The display format of the Date and DateTime field data types on the Windows 8 and 10 platforms is updated on the CLM and MyInsights libraries.

The same format is now used across all platforms and time zones, for example: YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sssZ.

Template Enhancements

The following MyInsights template visualizations are enhanced for customer use with the 17R3 Release.

Account Sales Dashboard:

• Samples counts in Activity Summary is now rolled up based on child products
• Datatype filter is now updated based on the selected Market values
• Uses querySalesData(queryConfig)

Account Plan Dashboard:

• Uses querySalesData(queryConfig)

Product Group Summary:

• A new version of the visualization is now available. This works across all platforms.

Order Management

SalesForce Integrated Authentication

Users can access the Veeva Order Management API via existing integrations with Salesforce.
